Timber Doors
Sliding doors are most often used for balconies and can be made to your required dimensions and opening configuration. The obvious advantage of a sliding door is that it saves a little space as you do not need to open the door into or outside any room so if you are a little short on space, this might be the choice for you.
Our Single and Double doors can be made in a 92mm Flush or in a 66mm Storm Proof style to match the corresponding window products. We use high quality adjustable hinges for ease of maintenance though out the life of your door. We offer all types of bespoke wooden doors such as for all types of applications be it Domestic or Commercial
- Available as Single Doors
- Double Doors (French)
- Sliding Doors

Before any work starts please check:
- Is planning permission required? If you live in a Conservation Area, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or a List Building you will need planning permission to change your windows
- The regulations with the Planning Department of your Local Authority
- Replacement windows are now covered by Building Regulations (Part L thermal efficiency), your installer should be registered under the self-assessment FENSA scheme
Benefits of Timber
Heat Retention
Timber favours considerably compared to other fire resistant construction materials
Easy Maintenance
With timber doors scratches are relatively easy to repair when compared to steel or fiberglass doors. A high-quality veneer can increase the weather-resistant characteristics of a solid wooden door, but adds to its cost as well.
Energy Efficiency
Timber doors use less energy to manufacture than those made from any other material, therefore reducing carbon emissions to the atmosphere.
